Does anybody here know how to detect that file was closed?

I am a novice to DMAPI in Linux-XFS.
I am trying to develop an application for HSM.

Dmapi version is a dmapi-2.2.1-1.

I read a docmunet for Dmapi.
It said that dmapi have a file 'close' event.

But I could not get any 'close' event from dmapi, especially when the
'create' operation was finished.

Is it a my mistake? Or it is not supported?

How should i know?
Please let me know how to do that.

Thanks a lot in advance.
Regards,
Nova
