Hey everyone, While testing some things for a friend I discovered that chattr +A doesn't work on XFS: root@stumpy:~# touch testatime root@stumpy:~# chattr +A testatime chattr: Inappropriate ioctl for device while reading flags on testatime This is with linux-2.6.0-test5. Is this specifically not supported? I realize there is a mount option for noatime - haven't tried that yet, but chattr should work, right? James Rich |
