Oh, you did this before your previous email, and you still had
problems?  Hm...

The problems I mentioned wouldn't affect ext3, since the patch should
do everything necessary  for ext3.  It was trickier for XFS since it was
not in the kernel tree, and we needed to be clever about detecting
the LBD patch.
