Ok, for starters, i don't think we shipped patches specifically
for xfs 1.3.1 + kernel 2.4.22, and the patches we did ship for 2.4.21
do not apply cleanly to 2.4.22.  I assume you hand-merged this; can you mail
me (privately) your resulting patch from the hand merge?

I doubt that this has anything to do with it, but in the interest
of duplicating your setup I'd like to have the exact code you're using,
since i was not able to duplicate with 2.4.21 + xfs 1.3.1.

Also, the xfs_info output for the tested filesystem would be helpful.
