Problem while I formatting

   I have partition (logical /dev/hda6 ) of size 16 MB.When i tried to
format using mkfs.xfs (ie mkfs.xfs /dev/hda6 ) it showing that " warning -
cannot set block size on bock device /dev/hda6 :Input/output error".I am
not thinking that it is a H/W problem because mkfs.ext3 and mkfs.reiserfs
are working on /dev/hda6.What is the minimum size required for xfs
partition?
