For the record, I just did a cp of a 1.7GB file to a 1.8TB NFS mounted XFS 
partition.  The server is running 2.4.18-xfs-1.1, and the XFS partition is 
a software RAID0 stripe across 2 3ware 7500-8 cards.

I don't have any servers (yet) w/ >1TB partitions running more recent 
code.
