Sender: linux-xfs-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxx
HW: Dell PE 2450
1 CPU
512 MB ram
2x 16 GB HD , RAID 1 using perc3 card. (aacraid module)
Kernel 2.4.9-31SGI_XFS_1.1
compiled with
gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)
(mm...I supposed to have egc or gcc3 ....mm :/ )

nfs client. mounting 1 partition from man SAN server (1/4 TB)

This server was in production until 2 days ago, when creashed by 2 second
time and we couldn;t see kernel panic in console (was too big)
We connected a serial console and vuala', after to reboot server and
active one of our process that sycronize data using rsync, machine
crashed again.

any idea? can be the compiler I used to build kernel?
btw, I have several servers installed with this kernel version since

Build Date: Tue 23 Apr 2002 05:13:59 PM GMT

and this is the first big problem.

The only new module (since aug 15) in this server is snare to do audit to
some process and users. we disabled after this 3rd crash.

Any suggestion?
attached you will find more info.

Thanks for you help

Vene.-
