I am seeing odd problems on a Linux XFS filesystem that appear to be
caused by a locking issue. I have had several files dissapear and I
believe it is due to two processes (mail filters) opening the file at the
same time and steping on each other's toes. Have you seen anything like
this on other systems? I'm seeing this with the XFS 1.0.1 release on
the 2.4.9 kernel.

I haven't tested the 1.0.2 release yet due to problems with the 2.4.14
kernel and the 1.0.2 build on my system.

Also, is there a timetable for releaseing XFS patches for 2.4.16?

Thanks!
