It's most certainly production level code.  I've got 560GB on hardware 
RAID 5 in production since April with no XFS problems.  Many other sites 
have similar (and much larger) amounts of data on it.  If you're seeing 
corruption, file a full bug report here.  Of most interest is what 
compiler did you use?
