Hi everyone,
Using the latest CVS copy (synced just now), I'm experiencing the
following when trying to build the acl package. I get to this by running
"debian/rules build" from the cmd/acl directory:
acl.c: In function `acl_verbose_abort':
acl.c:176: `va_list' undeclared (first use in this function)
acl.c:176: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
acl.c:176: for each function it appears in.)
acl.c:176: parse error before "ap"
acl.c:177: warning: implicit declaration of function `va_start'
acl.c:177: `ap' undeclared (first use in this function)
acl.c:179: warning: implicit declaration of function `va_end'
make[2]: *** [acl.lo] Error 1
make[1]: *** [default] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.9-xfs-20010827/cmd/acl'
make: *** [built] Error 2
I do not know if this will also happen if I use gcc-2.95, but currently I
am using the latest gcc in sid, gcc-3.0.1-pre. I do not know if it has
anything to do with that, but since the XFS team is aiming to get things
seamlessly working with gcc-3.0, then here is the bug report. :)
