Which Linux distributions?
if is RedHat or rpm based, you need to install xfsprogs from
ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/cmd_rpms/

if your distribution is debian you only need to "apt-get it"
apt-get install xfsprogs xfsdump attr attr-dev

or follow the instruccion for cvs download from xfs home page and then you
have to compile your self xfsprogs.
