Debian boot disk

Does anyone have a boot disk with xfs support that will allow me to get to
a console? i cant seem to get a console with the RH7.1 boot disk.  I need
to re-run lilo do boot my xfs system. / is ext2 still, but /boot is
xfs.  Ive tried makeing a bood disk on a different sytem, but i havent
been successful yet.  Can any one help? I'm using Debian, if that matters
(shouldnt...) Thanks.
