xfsdump failure with ONSTREAM ADR50 drive

Hello,

I am running Mandrake 8.2 with the 1.1 xfs from SGI in a vanilla 2.4.18
kernel.
If I try to do a xfsdump it fails with

xfsdump: creating dump session media file 0 (media 0, file 0)
xfsdump: dumping ino map
xfsdump: drive_scsitape.c:1985: do_get_write_buf: Assertion
`contextp->dc_nextp < contextp->dc_recendp' failed.
Aborted

I am attaching a error file I created from the output. Can you help?
