Hello,

I am using XFS that comes with Linux kernel 2.6.12.5. When doing heavy
IO to XFS sparse files,
I get the following error:

XFS internal error XFS_WANT_CORRUPTED_GOTO at line 2210 of file
fs/xfs/xfs_bmap_btree.c. Caller 0x801ee0bbn=1.000000
Filesystem "sda4": Corruption of in-memory data detected. Shutting down
filesystem: sda4
Please umount the filesystem, and rectify the problem(s)

Similar to the XFS Bugzilla report 680
http://oss.sgi.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=680
and 414 http://oss.sgi.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=414

Google also showed several instances of similar errors, but
unfortunately I have not seen a clear resolution.

Repeating the same test on the same hardware using the ext3 filesystem
gives no problems.

Comparing the Linux kernel sources for XFS between 2.6.12 and 2.17.1
shows a large number of changes,
does any of the changes since 2.6.12 adressess this or a similar
problems?

Any suggestions on avoiding this bug?
Any suggestions on tracking down the root cause of this bug?

                        Jurgen.
