| Subject: | CVS checkout of May24: Bad interaction bet. xfsrestore and nfs |

When using kernel and tools from the CVS checkout of May 24, xfsrestore
hangs with /var/log/messages showing:
"Jun 3 13:13:24 compa6 kernel: nfs: server compa5 not responding, still
trying
Jun 3 13:15:14 compa6 kernel: nfs: task 2189 can't get a request slot"
Being reluctant to update to kernel-2.4.19-pre9/-pre10, I installed the XFS
1.1 (generic 2.4.18) kernel and cmds, but ran xfsrestore before rebooting
the XFS 1.1 kernel, and it completes without problems.
My question is, can I use the XFS 1.1 cmd with the CVS kernel of May 24
until kernel-2.4.19 is official, or am I asking for trouble?
Thanks for the help,
Murthy
