Thanks for your inputs, after updating my CVS tree I can now compile the kernel again. However, the new aic7xxx module does not compile, so I used the old version. When I boot the system, right after initialising the SCSI controller and showing the devices on the screen I get a kernel panic and the system halts. Is there a way to get the output shown on the screen into a file? I was unable to find it in the logs. regards Reiner |
