I have used the ACL support that Tru64 Unix uses in their file system. Their setacl command allows the setting of an individual ACL permission "setacl -d -u user:luser:rw-". My question is is there any plans to implement chacl in this way? Unless I missed something, I have to type in the whole list of ACLs just to add a new one. It would make it easier than having to retype a long acl entry just to add a new person to the list. Keith Schincke |
