No idea about this. This has been an area which I am not 100% sure that grub
does actually write the MBR to both disks. Prior to using XFS I used ext3
and put grub on hd(0,0) so that the mirroring took care of it.
I don't think this matters at this stage. Once the system works I will
compare /dev/sda and /dev/sdb to check the MBR is the same.
