Hi guys,
This is not strictly an XFS-related problem, but maybe someone will have
an idea.
I'm trying to install RH7.1-SGI-XFS-0.10.4 on an SGI1200 system.
http://www.sgi.com/servers/1200/
I have 4 SCSI drives, and a Mylex DAC960 controller.
I tried with both the boot.img and the bootnet.img.
Because of the DAC960 card, i have to run "text dd" at the first prompt.
After i insert the drivers diskette, the installer prompts me with
"Loading DAC960 driver...", but it's freezed there forever.
On ALT-F3, the last line i see is "going to insmod DAC960.o (path is
/tmp/modules/DAC960)"
On ALT-F4, the last two lines are "DAC960 RAID Driver..." and "Copyright
1998-2001 by Leonard N. Zubkoff..."
That's all. I cannot go over this step.
With RH 7.0 i have no problems, the DAC960 driver loads perfectly.
