RedHat apply patches in the same area that kdb does, it is not unusual
for kdb to either not patch or fail to compile over RH patches.  kdb
only tracks standard Marcelo/Linus kernels, not distributors.  My
standard answer is ...

ask <insert distributor name here> for a kdb patch that fits their kernel.
