Hi Justin,
Log sizes can't be changed as of now. Though the xfs_growfs exports the interface, it is yet not implemented internally.

This is what I get when I try to change this:

[root@ga09 root]# xfs_growfs -L 16384 /lfs/fs1
meta-data=/lfs/fs1 isize=512 agcount=2, agsize=14651136 blks
= sectsz=512
data = bsize=4096 blocks=29300736, imaxpct=25
= sunit=24 swidth=24 blks, unwritten=1
naming =version 2 bsize=4096
log =internal bsize=4096 blocks=32760, version=2
= sectsz=512 sunit=24 blks
realtime =none extsz=6291456 blocks=0, rtextents=0
xfs_growfs: log growth not supported yet

Regards,
Shailendra

That is a good question, from what I have read it has to be specified at the filesystem creation time; however, maybe someone on the list knows otherwise.

Thanks,

Justin.

XFS as you know is a little slow with deleting files, but that can be
fixed.

Very nice. Is there a way to change the xfs log size option without
mkfs.xfs (mkfs.xfs -l size=64m)?

Thanks,

Luf
