That would be excellent, I have asked the FC mailing list for ideas on
how to get this in the main stream anaconda without having to type linux
xfs all the time at the install boot prompt to get XFS support.
I don't understand why they are so resistant to adding XFS and ReiserFS
support to FC and Anaconda. I would be very interested in knowing the
reason.
Cheers,
Aly.

RH's anaconda folks have already stated that XFS is 100% unsupported, and
they have refused to do anything to fix any problems with it, including
ignoring my question as to why they're shipping XFS support in FC if they
have no intention of fixing its bugs.
It might be worth trying - they did add the xfs_freeze patch (which
doesn't work most of the time), even though RedHat say anything to do
with XFS will be automatically marked 'WONTFIX' - see:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=117968#c9
You never know, they might be willing to accept a patch that fixes the
problem - as it may keep people that have this problem off their back ...
If I can get some confirmation from others that this work around does
'fix' the problem, then I'll see what can be done ...
