Yup. The reason is that XFS comes from the IRIX world and they don't
have the same partition tables, etc as "we" do. XFS uses the partition
format but not the partition table and on a PC you can install the
first part of a bootloader right at the beginning of a partition, that's
why it's there. On IRIX it works differently simply.
