Does this mean v2 logs are 'mostly' safe right now?
I consider them safe. The system has a software raid 5 array with version 2
logs and was installed when version 2 logs were "just" available. I've had
no issues with it.
Note that my system is not high availability system of any kind, it's the
test box for my department so it gets the odd thrashing and runs mostly
experimental stuff first.
And I've had no issues with it yet. Just make sure your favourite rescue
disc has recent tools and kernel to mount the filesystems.
Cheers

I don't make sense, I don't pretend to either. Questions?
