Hi, So far the kernels I made have been downloaded a number of times and I was wondering if anyone is having problems with them. I myself don't have the hardware or time to thoroughly test the kernels, and yes I run the kernels I made on a number of test boxen and some semi production ones with good succes. These errata kernels are rather important for people who have broadcom network cards and are experiencing crashes or hangs. And since I have a few non production systems using these cards I sort of needed these errata as well. I might do more errata kernels in the future as time permits and the amount of core changes in the errata don't creat unresolvable conflicts. So if anyone has comments, suggestions or problems with these kernels I would like to now them. In case people forgot where they are, go here http://iserv.nl/files/xfs/ If you file a bugreport in bugzilla, make sure to mention that they are contributed kernels. Not the official SGI kit. Cheers -- Seth It might just be your lucky day, if you only knew. |
