Someone really needs to write an article for one of the major printer and/or web publications explaining this. I've seen too many "Ext3 sucks" or "XFS sucks" comments and "ReiserFS rules corruption-free" bigotry. [ Hence why I jumped on you too quickly, sorry. ] If I am correct the C'T magazine (German/Dutch) had a article planned for a JFS comparison somewhere around the middle of the year. I am not sure if it makes it out by july or something. It would be great to see a good in-depth article. It is a highly regareded tech magazine. I believe someone from SGI Netherlands is on it. Can't comment on it further, because I don't know more then this. Bye -- Seth Every program has two purposes one for which it was written and another for which it wasn't I make the last kind. |
