If you just type "make" it explicitly sets that dir to /usr/lib instead, so try: no its not only xfsprogs which takes things in /usr/libexec when building with ./configure --prefix=usr. also attr acl and dmapi stow some things in /usr/libexec grrrrrr....... (or is this correct??) ./configure --prefix=/usr --libexecdir=/usr/lib
Yes this would be nice. ;-) But for now I can simply delete the directory /usr/libexec/cause it was empty before installing the stuff. And for the other things I should have a backup somewhere......... ;-) regards micha |
