I've attached the output of 'ksymoops < kern.log > kern.log.ksymoops_ed' and the messages logfile from after the hard-reboot. I didn't bother to ksymoops 'messages' too as those dumps were already in kern.log.
first of all, you kernel seems to be 'way outdated. There where so many changes in the last weeks (in fact, i should say mounths ;-)), you realy should consider an update. Im running SuSE-8.0's kernel with XFS-support on some boxes with Zero problems :-). The first oops came from uagentd (that's ArcServe's UNIX/Linux Agent, isn't it). Perhaps he has a problem with xfs (is ArcServe able to backup XFS-ACL/EAs ??).
P.S.: For you anti-linux camp. I just rebooted both our 'Active Directory' Controller and our Exchange Server, 'cause Exchange refused to receive any mail directed to him from one minute to the other. Hm, last week i saw a nice signature : ' Microsoft Pullution Survivor'. -- Klaus Strebel UNIX-Engineer klaus.strebel@xxxxxxxxxx EIGNER - Precision Lifecycle Management - <http://www.eigner.com> |
