hello,
Since many have asked about patching up the 7.3 installer and,
understandably, these things take time, I was wondering if there was a
way to upgrade to 7.3 over the network from a working 7.x system. If so,
I think that would work for me and many others and reduce the noise on
the list. :)
i've mounted the rh73 isos, and upgraded all with "rpm -Fvh *rpm". few
package-dependencies were broken
(i've installed a lot of rawhide-rpms). i had to resolve the conflicts
manually. but now i run a clean rh73+xfs1.1,
though i think about switching to mandrake 8.2, which allready have xfs
support.
greetings
thomas
