Guysm

Thanks a bunch!

2.4.18 kernel with Tronds patches compiling now ! Will test tomorrow.

This should help the dissappearing files. TCsh (esc) (esc) may work
again
!
WRT to the XFS/NFS issue, that sounds pretty broken. The Indy is already
exported as 32bitclients (plural?). no help. Sounds like this is
pretty new!
Kernel / Glibc assumption.

RE: Raid5 w/ millions of files.

As I have no logging enabled at all, can I put it on sep. internal disks
on the
system controller. ( do have a few 80 MBPS disks inside :^)

Would probably put them on the spare parts of the partitions.

Can I add entries as Steve Lord indicates to /etc/fstab to start logging
on these new partitions.

Thanks!

John W.
