I tell you because the FAQ told me to. :-)

Nov 1 08:58:56 sdssdp9 kernel: Please umount the filesystem, and rectify
the problem(s)
Hopefully, you already know what the systems looks like, but I'll outline it
again:
2, 8 disk IDE HW RAID5 arrays striped via software (aka RAID50), 1.12TB in
size. Various kernels, but currently 2.4.9 from CVS.
Generally, I can remount the FS and keep going along my merry way with no
corruption - it's just a pain when it goes down in the middle of the night
and then the farm batch jobs die 'cause they can't write their output to
disk.
Ideas?
Thanks,
Dan
