While they may have included drivers in the kernel, I'd still recommend downloading the file(s) from Adaptec since they also include some utilities for manupulating the settings in the card. I'm running a 3200S and everything went fairly smoothly using the Adaptec drivers and utilities....

Missed a post in this thread...oops : ) Now if someone will just release a distro with 2.4.10+, so I can install directly to the 2100s's drives...
