FWIW, I'm working on merging our 2.4.7 patch into Red Hat's upcoming(?) kernel
release.  Sure hope I got the right kernel out of rawhide... :)

The idea, of course, is that the underlying RH kernel might be a bit more stable
than generic Linux.

I'll send out a note when it's ready for testing...
