sofware raid 5 (7 disk + host spare)
xfs with external log on a software raid 1 array (hda/hdc)
kernel 2.4.10-pre2-xfs-30082001 (egcs-1.1.2 release) redhat 7.1 based
/dev/md0 on /raid5 type xfs
(rw,noatime,nodiratime,logbufs=8,logdev=/dev/md1)
/dev/hda7 on /scratch type xfs (rw,noatime,nodiratime,logbufs=8)
client:
Athlon 10x100MHz 2x256 PC133
3com 3c905CX-TXM card
plain SGI-1.0.1 xfs install
