But I thought I would update every body on the status of oss
Thursday night the machine locked up hard ... no idea what happened here
but since things were down and all the data had been transferred to
linux-xfs
it took over services for oss. (web, ftp, mail, cvs )
Since oss was out of the loop any ways we decided to go ahead and
upgrade the
machine to RH 7..1 + XFS 1.0 , which is where things are at currently.
While some outages were experienced generally due to configuration
differences between RH 6.1 and RH 7.1
I hope it wasn't to much inconvenience, and while we have tired to test
most
services on oss it is possible something may not be exactly right just
yet.
