Hi all;
I have a newly installed Mandrake 8.0 system. I downloaded the CVS tree
of your latest XFS Kernel.
The kernel built ok, with some adjustments to accomodate the Mandrake
distro. But I can't get the xfsprogs past the configure stage. configure
dies with:
checking for uuid/uuid.h... no
FATAL ERROR: could not find a valid UUID header.
Install either the e2fsprogs-devel (rpm) or the uuid-dev (deb) package.
make: *** [configure] Error 1
If I try to install the e2fsprogs-devel rpm it errors out about
conflicts with e2fsprogs (they "seem" to be the same package).
How do I get around this one?
