Hi John! I didn't realize until the other day (early Sunday
morning) my request (made back on Feb 25th) was granted for a
project (xfs4rh). It was my first request of SourceForge.NET. I
had ~125MB of RPMs to dump, but totally forgot to check. Again, I
hit the site just the other day, searching for something else and
saw my project's home page (totally bare). I created a few things
on the site, but couldn't figure out how to upload any files (and
there is no reason to use CVS for just binary [S]RPMs). I guess I'm
getting this E-mail now because I setup my E-mail address for
"thebs".
Anyhoo, since my first request, SGI has really picked up the release
pace. Their release sets are ~300MB for for the ISO alone. Not
sure if we want to be uploading all that. Additionally, I'm not a
part of their "official" release team. I just created some RPMs for
RedHat 7.0 back when SGI didn't have any for any 2.4.0+ release (and
had just moved to 2.4.2 in their CVS repository -- so I figured it
was a good time to cut some). Again, since then SGI has made
several releases -- with the last two being for RedHat 7.1.

I understand. I _was_ considering making some patch sets for
patching against the stock kernels. Or maybe uploading a few other
things. But the full XFS RPM releases might entail a lot more --
although I could just upload the relevant RPMs -- would total
~200MB. But I feel that would be "cheating" since I didn't make
them -- and doing the same would just be duplicating SGI's latest
efforts. My XFS stuff is quite dated (February 25th) and a lot has
happened since then.
Again, I cc'd the XFS list on this. I also made them aware of my
XFS project page at SourceForge.NET right after I found out about it
(again, I just "assumed" it didn't go through) -- mainly because
many people (including myself) _always_ hit SourceForge before doing
anything to see if anyone else has already thought of it.

Thanx for "checking-in". I hope the SGI guys could give me some
direction here -- let me know if they want control of the project
page, or if they think I should shut it down -- or maybe I should
move into the role of "documentation" using the site as a front.
Again, I could probably use some guidence here from everyone.
