Ok, I see what's going on here... looks like the reason ide-cd didn't
load is due to notorious Linux Broken Makefile code for symbol
versioning (http://www.tux.org/lkml/#s8-8).

/sbin/depmod -ae 2.4.2-SGI_XFS_0.10.3
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.4.2-SGI_XFS_0.10.3/kernel/net/wanrouter/wanrouter.o
depmod: unregister_netdev_Ra71cd3df
depmod: kmalloc_R93d4cfe6
depmod: skb_under_panic_Rc11578bb
etc...

I've never seen this happen on an RPM kernel build, but it does appear
to be the case, at least on kernel-2.4.2-SGI_XFS_0.10.3.i686.rpm

In the meantime, if you're impatient, you can fix this by rebuilding the
kernel from the source, starting with "make mrproper" and going through
the rest - I'd suggest turning CONFIG_MODVERSIONS off to be on the safe
side.

Otherwise, we should have some new RPMs out in the near future...

Sorry about that,

-Eric
