I think you're right. I am not an rpm wizard at all (not even a developer :)
I copied the xfs patches, put them in the spec but forgot to add lines so
they would really be applied. So that's why it seemed so easy: the XFS
patches have never been applied... :(

If anyone else (with more rpm skills) manages to get a working version with
XFS support, please let me know.
