I am happy to generate split patches for 2.4.22 against Russell's
patches, being very careful to mark them as unofficial 2.4.22 patches.

With one proviso, that the code actually works.

I have not run any QA tests on Russell's patches.  If any of the SGI
XFS team tell me that these patches pass QA then I will generate
unofficial 2.4.22 split patches.
