Date: 26 mar 2003 I'm running kernel 2.4.18 + XFS1.1+ LVM 1.3 on my PC. I'd like to know: 1) can I upgrade to kernel 2.4.19 + XFS 1.2 without reformatting and recreate new File System with XFS 1.2? any drawbacks using the current filesystem created with XFS1.1? It is best reformatting? 2) what is the suggested (well tested) version of LVM with XFS 1.2? LVM 1.7 or LVM2? anyone is already using these combination? thanks in advance, Roberto |
