I have a machine with debian that is running 2.6.13 kernel without any problem. I am trying to migrate to 2.6.15. I copied the .config file and without doing any significant changes (just added the fuser mount) I compiled the kernel with xfs build inside the kernel as before and rebooted. The system couldn't boot and I received a kernel panic message. the last lines of the output where: XFS: bad magic number XFS: SB validate failed The previous kernel continues to boot just fine. Any suggestion? |
