Well, I've cleaned it up, had it looked over by the other XFS
folks and done a fair bit of testing now on XFS (and also made
sure direct I/O to other filesystems and the block device has
not become broken), and I've started a discussion with Andrew
about getting the patch into his tree for additional testing.
Once he's happy with it, I expect it will move to Linus' kernel.

So, I don't know exactly when it will be merged, its not up to
me. :)
