Summary: xfsdump crashes system when dumping to a XFS partition
           Product: Linux XFS
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: IA32
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: High
         Component: xfsdump
        AssignedTo: xfs-master@xxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: hans.lampl@xxxxxxxxxxx

Whenever I try to make a dump (using xfsdump 2.2.21) to a XFS-partition, my
system (kernel 2.4.22) crashes after having written some GB to the destination
file. There are neither any specific messages in the syslog (except some binary
zeros, but only sometimes) nor any messages indicating what's wrong in the
xfsdump-logfile (except binary zeros as well at the end of the file). The crash
seems not to depend on a certain file size.
Performing the same (xfs-)dump to an EXT3 partition works without any problems.
