Same problem occurs at xfsdump-2.2.21/dump/content.c:2920
Initializing buflenout on line 2879 should work.

Another option would be to use __s32 instead of size_t for buflenout, this
approach is taken in xfsdump-2.2.21/common/util.c in bigstat_iter()
