Hi Nathan, <kneeling on floor begging for forgivenes> It appears that I have made error in my debugging procedures, by changing the disk controller as I were changing the filesystems ie. two things at once :( and off course I blamed XFS :( Humble apologies... reiserfs exhibit the same hard hangs on the SATA drives... Now I'll be off to Jeff Garzik and discuss life the universe and Promise 20378 onboard SATA controllers that don't appear to like network activity while it's busy :( HEndrik |
