Unfortunately, I've had some trouble with xfsdump/xfsrestore in the past. Using a xfsdump -l0 ... | xfsrestore ... worker, but a second xfsdump -l1 ... | xfsrestor failed in xfsrestore. So I'd advise you to make a few confirmation tests before going into production. FYI, the error I encountered was: xfsrestore: node.c:669: node_map: Assertion `nodegen == hdlgen' failed. Didn't manage to find a working solution (and ended up with rsync). Regards, Iustin Pop |
