The available split patches for 2.4.23 (2003-12-01 00:33 UTC) apply
fairly cleanly to the pristine 2.4.24. The only reject is the Makefile
EXTRAVERSION change, which is trivial to repair by hand. I have not
tested if this works, though. Has anyone done tests with this
combination?
If it's not too difficult a task, I'm hoping the XFS team can find some
time to release split patches for 2.4.24, though, with whatever XFS
fixes came in after 2003-12-01 00:33 UTC.
Thank you very much in advance.
