I have a 80GB partition with many files with variable sizes that is 76% full ATM. I've noticed that there are some inodes that xfs_fsr never defrags (eg. "No improvement made: ino=156196115"), even though there certainly is enough space (19GB) for the file (less than 1GB). What's the cause for this? If there's no consistent space for the inode to fit in to, shouldn't the program re-organize other inodes to make that space? |
