Hmm, I thought Release-1.3.0 was released for both 2.4.20 and 2.4.21 ?
Thus, I don't understand your comment here. IMHO there would have been no need 
for any "backports" ...

btw. ftp://oss.sgi.com seems to be alive, but i get "permission denied", when 
trying to access projects/xfs
